Managing Menus

After you accessed the admin area of your website, click on the Design and CMS and Menus tabs.

You can create a new menu by clicking on the corresponding button, switch on/off Show Tips switch and choose the required front end by clicking on the corresponding tab.

In the Available pages section, you can use the search tool, Expand all or Collapse all by clicking on the corresponding tabs, view Pages, Categories, Brands and so on (as well as Subcategories and Subsubcategories (if any) by clicking on + icon) and then by scrolling the scroller up and down, and move the required unit from top to bottom and the other way round by dragging it using the hand tool.

Using the Menu section, you can:

  • choose menus from the drop down
  • copy menu from another sale channel
  • import and export menu data

While editing a menu, drag and drop menu items to arrange in the right order

While adding a new menu item, you can select category to add as a single category (subcategory) OR select “All categories” to add automatically updated tree of all categories.

Similarly, you can select brand to add as a single brand, or choose “All brands” to add an automatically updated list of all brands.

It is also possible to select Default, Info and Account pages by clicking on + icon and then choosing the required page, and add Components (from the list of existing components), Custom link and Custom catalog links by dragging them using the hand tool.

You can also edit/delete a menu item by clicking on the corresponding icons.

While editing a menu item, it is possible to:

  • change its title
  • set “open in new tab” flag
  • set “nofollow link” for SEO
  • set CSS class
  • set link (for “Custom Link” menu item type only)
