Managing SEO Redirects

After you accessed the admin area of your website click on SEO and SEO Redirects tabs. Choose the required front end by clicking on the corresponding tab. You can import, export, validate, delete or add a new SEO redirect by clicking on the corresponding buttons. You can also view the columns for the existing SEO redirects. If you click on one of them you can edit, delete or validate a SEO redirect by clicking on the corresponding buttons.

While adding/editing a SEO redirect you can view/update Old URL, New URL, Code fields and switch on/off its status by checking/unchecking the box next to it.

Managing Meta tags

After you accessed the admin area of your website click on SEO and Meta tags tabs. Choose the required tab (for example, Index Tags, All Products and so on or scroll it to the right if necessary), the front end and the language by clicking on the corresponding tabs. You can view/update the fields, add more fields or delete then by clicking on the corresponding buttons and the trash icons.

Managing SEO on products

While adding/editing a product click on SEO tab, choose the required front end and the language by clicking on the corresponding tabs.

SEO Page Name field shows how the URL of the product is displayed in the browser, after the name of the domain, for example:

dkny-women-s-ny8183-gold-stainless-steel-quartz-watch-with-white

It means that the URL of the product is:

https://dev.trueloaded.co.uk/dkny-women-s-ny8183-gold-stainless-steel-quartz-watch-with-white

Old SEO Page Name field shows the old URL of the product (usually it is filled in with SEO of the old website). If you go to this URL it should automatically redirect you to the new URL that is indicated in SEO Page Name field. There can be several Old SEO Page Name fields but all the URLs from these fields should automatically redirect you to the new URL that is indicated in SEO Page Name field.

Note: Canonical (URL) field should not be filled in.

Managing SEO on categories

While adding/editing a category click on SEO tab, choose the required language by clicking on the corresponding tab.

Category SEO Page Name (URL) field shows how the URL of the category is displayed in the browser, after the name of the domain, for example:

watch

It means that the URL of the category is:

https://dev.trueloaded.co.uk/watch

Category SEO Page Name (old-URL) field shows the old URL of the category (usually it is filled in with SEO of the old website). If you go to this URL it should automatically redirect you to the new URL that is indicated in Category SEO Page Name (URL) field. There can be several Category SEO Page Name (old-URL) fields but all the URLs from these fields should automatically redirect you to the new URL that is indicated in Category SEO Page Name (URL) field.

Note: Canonical (URL) field should not be filled in.
