Managing Zone Table

The Zone Table shipping module allows using a shipping method where shipping costs can be calculated based on the required shipping options, zones and tables.

To start using this module, access the admin area of your website, then move to the App Shop and Store tabs. Find the Zone Table module using Quick search, and install it on your website.  

Once installed, go to the Modules, Shipping and Offline tabs, where you can find this module in the Shipping Modules list under the name of 1-2 days delivery,

then click on the Edit button.

Here you can also choose the required frontend by clicking on its tab.

In the Settings section you can:

• enable/disable table method by choosing between the True/False radio buttons
• fill in handling fee for this shipping method
• choose the tax class from the drop down list to be used on the shipping fee
• manage delivery dates by choosing preferred delivery date rules
• disable delivery dates by checking the box next to the required day(s) of the week
• fill in the field for sort order
• activate/deactivate If no rates found allow complete order option by choosing between the True/False radio buttons

In the Restrictions section you can:

• enable tracking for a certain carrier by checking the box next to Enable Tracking  
• allow this shipping method to a certain customer group by checking the box next to the required group
• make this shipping method available for desired countries under Available for countries
• make this shipping method visible on the  required pages by checking the boxes next to the selected pages under Available for

In the Details section under the Shipping Table and Order tabs you can switch on/off the required option by checking the box next to it and choose between Weight, Volume, Price, Quantity, Weight + Price, Volume + Price and Weight + Dimensions modes by clicking on the corresponding radio buttons.

If you choose Weight mode, you can fill in Handling Price, Per KG Price, Handling per item, Surcharge fields and fill in Weight and Cost fields (depending on the number of kilograms specified in weight fields, you can specify the cost, for example in the first weight field 1 is filled in and in the second one 99999 is filled in – it means in the first cost field you can specify the cost for the weight that is less than 1 kilogram, and in the second cost field you can specify the cost for the weight from 1 to 99999 kilograms. If the weight is more than 99999 kilograms, the cost will be calculated based on Per KG Price).

You can also add more fields by clicking on the corresponding button, and delete the required fields by clicking on the trash icon, fill in Checkout Note field in the required language, and view the list of the countries (areas) included in this option.

If you choose Volume mode, you can fill in Handling Price, Per KG Price, Handling per item, Surcharge fields  and fill in Volume and Cost fields (depending on the number of cbm specified in volume fields, you can specify the cost, for example in the first volume field 1 is filled in and in the second one 99999 is filled in – it means in the first cost field you can specify the cost for the volume that is less than 1 cbm and in the second cost field you can specify the cost for the volume from 1 to 99999 cbm, if the volume is more than 99999 cbm, the cost will be calculated based on Per KG Price).

You can also add more fields by clicking on the corresponding button, and delete the required fields by clicking on the trash icon, fill in Checkout Note field in the required language and view the list of the countries (areas) included in this option.

If you choose Price mode, you can fill in Handling Price, Per KG Price, Handling per item, Surcharge fields and fill in Price and Cost fields (depending on the price range specified in price fields, you can specify the cost, for example in the first price field 1 is filled in and in the second one 99999 is filled in – it means in the first cost field you can specify the cost for the prices that are less than 1 and in the second cost field you can specify the cost for the prices from 1 to 99999).

You can also add more fields by clicking on the corresponding button, and delete the required fields by clicking on the trash icon, fill in Checkout Note field in the required language, and view the list of the countries (areas) included in this option.

If you choose Quantity mode, you can fill in Handling Price, Per KG Price, Handling per item, Surcharge  fields and fill in Quantity and Cost fields (depending on the quantity specified in quantity fields, you can specify the cost, for example in the first quantity field 1 is filled in and in the second one 99999 is filled in – it means in the first cost field you can specify the cost for the quantity that is less than 1 and in the second cost field you can specify the cost for the quantity from 1 to 99999).

You can also add more fields by clicking on the corresponding button, and delete the required fields by clicking on the trash icon, fill in Checkout Note field in the required language, and view the list of the countries (areas) included in this option.

If you choose Weight + Price mode, you can fill in Handling Price, Per KG Price, Handling per item, Surcharge fields and fill in Weight, Price From, Price To and Cost fields (weight fields work in the same way as described for mode Weight above, depending on the price range you can specify the cost, for example the first price from field is empty and in the first price to field 1000 is filled in – it means in the first cost field you can specify the cost for the prices from 0 to 1000 and in the second price from field 1000 is filled in and the second price to field is empty – it means in the second cost field you can specify the cost for the prices from 1000 to unlimited).

You can also add more fields by clicking on the corresponding button, and delete the required fields by clicking on the trash icon, fill in Checkout Note field in the required language, and view the list of the countries (areas) included in this option.

Note: If the second price to field is empty and in the second cost field 0 is filled in, Per KG Price field will be ignored to make free shipping for the orders with large amounts.

If you choose Volume + Price mode, you can fill in Handling Price, Per KG Price, Handling per item, Surcharge  fields and fill in Volume, Price From, Price To and Cost fields (volume fields work in the same way as described for mode Volume above, and price fields work in the same way as described for mode Weight + Price above).

You can also add more fields by clicking on the corresponding button, and delete the required fields by clicking on the trash icon, fill in Checkout Note field in the required language, and view the list of the countries (areas) included in this option.

If you choose Weight + Dimensions mode, you can fill in Handling Price, Per KG Price, Handling per item, Surcharge fields and fill in Weight, Width, Length, Height, Volume and Cost fields (weight fields work in the same way as described for mode Weight above, depending on the Width, Length, Height and Volume range you can specify the cost).

You can also add more fields by clicking on the corresponding button, and delete the required fields by clicking on the trash icon, fill in Checkout Note field in the required language, and view the list of the countries (areas) included in this option.

Under the Shipping Zones tab you can set up the required shipping zone by choosing a country from the drop down list. Depending on your choice, a number of zones will appear in Zone column, so you can also choose the required zone from the drop down list, as well as either specify the post code range in the corresponding fields, or choose the single post code by clicking on the radio buttons.

You can delete a shipping zone by clicking on the trash icon, and add a new one by clicking on + icon.

Under the Shipping Options tab you can view the existing shipping options in different languages, delete a shipping option by clicking on the trash icon, add a new one by clicking on + icon and set up the required sort order by filling in the corresponding field.

You can also restrict a shipping option to a certain customer group by choosing this customer group from the drop down list (if you choose Disallow, allow by customer option, this shipping option will be restricted to a certain customer only).
