Managing Email templates: Difference between revisions

After you accessed the admin area of your website click on Design and CMS and E-mail templates tabs. You can work with all templates, or you can choose a specific template from the corresponding groups of templates, which are presented under different tabs: Admin template, User related template from admin, User related from user.

Here you can also insert a new template, edit, copy or delete the existing ones by clicking on the corresponding buttons.

A quick search option is available at the top of the listing page.

While editing an email template it is possible to:

Assign it to the required sales channel
Choose its type (any, admin only, user only, admin template for users)
Choose template design (for HTML)
Set its title
Enter content
Add template keys (store-specific, customer-specific, order-specific, and discount coupon-specific)
Enter template information for HTML and Text versions
