After you accessed the admin area of your website click on Products/Catalogue and Properties tabs. Add a new category by clicking on the corresponding button or double click on the existing category.

Add a new property by clicking on the corresponding button or make sure Filter toggle is switched on for the required existing properties.

While adding/editing a product assign it to the required properties.

While editing the corresponding category switch on the toggles next to required filters. Only those filters show up that correspond to the properties that are assigned to the products which are included in this category.
